The standard finish is galvanised for weather protection, but can be powder coated to a RAL colour from a wide range of standard colours.
Note due to the rolling action on the curtain some scuffling of the paintwork is inevitable where the lath come into contact with each other.
The curtain can be manufactured from solid lath, punched lath, or perforated lath to suit your requirements.
Roller shutters doors are now normally operated electrically.

Our industrial roller shutters are operated using direct drive three-phase motors to enable constant use. Galvanised finish as standard. Colour finishes available
Commercial Roller Shutters Medium-Duty
Roller Shutters
For commercial use where the roller shutter receives limited use, a single-phase tube motor is used. Where required, the shutter curtain can be fitted with a see through section to allow for example, vision into shop front windows at night. Curtains can be perforated, punched or solid.
Finish: galvanised or powder coated
Note: due to the nature of roller shutters, some scuffing of paint finishes to the curtain is inevitable as the curtain coils around the barrel.
Wind loading
Large roller shutters are fitted with wind-lock guides for improved wind resistance.
For applications where wind loading is particularly significant, our insulated roller shutter and folding shutter products may be more suitable.
